Rob went to college with Candace’s sister, Jen.  When Candace moved to Wilmington she didn’t know anyone and asked Jen to introduce her to some friends.  Rob was the first person she was introduced to and they’ve been together ever since!

After almost 3 years of dating, Candace told Rob it was about time they got married (or else)!  Candace was hoping this would happen before Thanksgiving when they were travelling to visit Candace’s family.  Rob ordered the ring a month in advance (unbeknownst to Candace) but it didn’t arrive until the day before they were scheduled to depart.  Candace was worried that he wasn’t going to ask, but the night before the scheduled trip after a romantic walk along the river, Rob got down on one knee and popped the question.  Of course, Candace said yes!
