Welcome

A casual walk to the park from my parents house is how it all began. Ignoring the guy in the field with no shirt on, I casually went about my business until Jon asked me to play frisbee with him. With my girlish giggle I agreed, even though I really wasn't good at it. We talked for hours and decided to walk back to my parents house together. We sat and talked some more and got to know eachother better, luckily to find out he only lived a town away. Immediately we both were completely comfortable with eachother and were inseperable from that day forward. That is how we met. How we got engaged was a different story. Christmas 2010 Jonathan and I open presents at his parents house in the early morning. His mom, dad, sister and pop are all accounted for. The room was filled with presents, we weren't sure where we were going to sit! We start passing gifts to each other, the tears of joy come when "special" gifts are open and everyone shares a few laughs. The presents are all opened, now it's time to thank the fmaily for everything they have done for Jonathan and I. He stops me in mid speech and tells me that there is one more gift. He kneels on the floor next to the couch that I was sitting on and reaches underneath for a box. He gives a speech saying that he wanted to do this in front of all his family so they could all welcome me to be a part of it! "Will you marry me?" His dad pulls out the camera and catches every moment of it, while mom and Maggie start the tears of joy. Amidst my tears I say yes and seal it with a kiss.

Our ceremony will be timeless and elegant, a real life fariytale wedding. It is only a matter of time until my toes sink into the sand of Aruba walking towards my future husband Jonathan Hasbrouck! This will be a time to remember and can't wait to share it with family and friends.

We will be sharing the love with two receptions, the first will be celebrated after my ceremony in Aruba and the second will be when we come home. The date of the at home reception is 08/25/2012 in Jon's parents backyard where there will be BBQ and dancing!!!

Jon and I would like to thank all of our dearest family and friends for simply being here for us. You all have done so much and have made such a remarkable positive difference in our lives. We cherish the friendship and love you gave us, and continue to give to us. Thank you for visiting our wedding website and honeymoon registry. You all have blessed our lives and we can't wait to share our special day with you!
