Jasen and Kaitlyn met through a friend in high school. They both attended Eisenhower's prom together, but with different dates. In December 2006 Jasen began messaging Kaitlyn asking her to hang out. Finally, in June 2007 Kaitlyn decided to get ice cream with Jasen. They have been together ever since
